Dave Garrelts founded AES Corporation in 1991; In 2008, Jay Dorsey became partner after 11 years of collaboration with Garrelts.
AES Corporation is headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with additional locations in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Kansas City, Missouri.
In 2004, AES acquired the VRC Company, including the Aseptic Process Systems line, the Multicoil™ Heat Exchanger and the Gentle Flow™ Pump.
AES is also a distributor for other major process equipment.
The combined expertise of the partners and their highly specialized team began with Garrelts’ fascination with designing, programming and starting up processing equipment. Dorsey’s background offers HMI Development, PLC Programming, Project Database Development, Project Management, Startup and Commissioning.
