The Automation Engineer will be part of a project team responsible for gathering requirements, designing, configuring, integrating and implementing process control solutions for clients in manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge of process manufacturing field instrumentation, technology and batch process manufacturing in all project phases, including requirements documentation, detail design generation, implementation, systems integration, testing and on-site startup.
Required Experience/Skills:
- PLC’s - Allen Bradley, GE Intelligent Platforms and/or Modicon
- HMI - Wonderware InTouch, GE Proficy/ Cimplicity, GE Proficy/Intellution/iFix, and/or Rockwell FactoryTalk View
- Instrumentation and Control Devices
- Commissioning - Field checkout and startup testing of PLC, HMI and instrumentation systems
Education:
- BS in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
Experience:
- 5 years in process control and/or manufacturing and/or information services
